The ladies of the LA Piano Unit are at it again on May 1st. Come out to hear a mixture of classical repertoire, contemporary compositions, and improvisation!
From the LA Piano Unit: It’s been 4 year since we founded this group and without your support, it wasn’t possible. This concert is nothing but the expression of our appreciation to our supporters and love toward music.
About us:
Founded by Misuzu Kitazumi, Motoko Honda, and Masumi Urakami, the Los Angeles Piano Unit has emerged as one of LA's unique piano ensembles dedicated to the performance of music from the Baroque to the present, including electronic and improvisational music. In addition, the Los Angeles Piano Unit acts as a music ambassador to long-forgotten pieces for the piano by re-introducing them to the general audience by fusing academic understanding of music interpretation with extraordinary skill to match with it.
