9:00pm David Lindley
The definition of eclectic, Mr. Dave's combination of American folk, blues, and bluegrass traditions with elements from African, Arabic, Asian, Celtic, Malagasy, and Turkish musical sources is as unique as his collection of polyester shirts. Well known for his many years as a collaborator with Jackson Browne, and leader of his own band El Rayo-X, he has long championed the concept of world music from his groundbreaking work Kaleidoscope to the present.
8:00pm The Nervis Brothers
Louisiana native Eddie Baytos and Nervis Brothers have a unique, horn-driven take on Cajun, Zydeco and traditional 2nd Line styles. Eddie’s high-energy vocals, washboard and accordion playing are backed up by a hard driving rhythm section and a horn section featuring members of Tower of Power.
